A storytelling game dedicated to helping raise awareness among the young generation who are at risk of mental illness, particularly depression, throughout their adolescent period. It is a student project that was inspired by an indie game called “Gris”.



Creating a surrealist environment for the players to forge a bond with the protagonist (Chipper), the design approach focuses on using colour sequence. Utilising monochrome and colourful colour palettes to represent the stages of the protagonist’s emotion and mindset helps create a familiar aura for the player’s mental journey.



The game seeks to help take the players on a surreal journey reflecting their mental journey that opens to them discovering more about their mental health and learning how to conquer the negativity they encounter throughout the journey.
